Return & Refund Policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

This policy explains when you can get a refund from Fin Maverick, how to ask for one, and how long it takes. It applies to every purchase made on https://www.finmaverick.com and https://learn.finmaverick.com, and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

Operated by Pravesio Consulting Private Limited ("Fin Maverick", "we", "us").

1. Nature of What You Buy

1.1 Fin Maverick sells digital educational services — course access, live and mentored programmes, question banks, and tools. Nothing physical is shipped, so there is nothing to return. "Return" in this policy means cancellation of access.

1.2 Because access is granted instantly and content is consumable on delivery, refunds are governed by the windows and thresholds below rather than by a blanket return right.

1.3 This policy is offered voluntarily and does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

2. Refund Windows at a Glance

"Content accessed" is measured by our platform's progress tracking: lessons opened, videos started, questions attempted, and downloads taken.

3. When You Are Always Eligible

Regardless of the table above, you get a full refund if:

3.1 Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same purchase.

3.2 Payment made, access not granted — you paid but never received access, and we could not fix it within 72 hours of you reporting it.

3.3 Unauthorised transaction — a charge was made on your payment instrument without your authorisation, confirmed with your bank or gateway.

3.4 Programme cancelled by us — we cancel a bootcamp, cohort, internship, or competition before it begins. You may take a full refund or move to the next available cohort, your choice.

3.5 Material change by us — we materially reduce the scope of a paid programme after you enrol (for example, removing the mentored component from a mentored bootcamp) and you do not accept the change.

3.6 Wrong item purchased — you bought the wrong programme and tell us within 48 hours, having accessed no more than 5% of it. We will switch you to the correct one and refund or collect the difference.

4. When You Are Not Eligible

Refunds are not available where:

4.1 The applicable window in Section 2 has closed, or you have crossed the consumption threshold.

4.2 You have downloaded, screen-recorded, or captured substantial material.

4.3 Your account was suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms & Conditions or the Content License — including credential sharing, piracy, scraping, or abuse.

4.4 The purchase was made using a scholarship, full-discount coupon, referral credit, or promotional code reducing the price to zero or near zero. Partial discounts are refunded on the amount actually paid.

4.5 You did not use the programme. Non-use is not a ground for refund once the window has closed; access was available to you throughout.

4.6 You did not pass an examination, did not get a job, an interview, or an internship offer, or are dissatisfied with an outcome. As stated in the Terms, we do not guarantee outcomes.

4.7 You changed your mind about your career plans, exam date, or availability after the window closed.

4.8 The issue is on your side — no internet, an unsupported device, or a browser you have not updated — and our support team offered a workable fix that you did not take up.

4.9 Certificate issuance has already been completed for the programme.

4.10 It is a renewal charge on a subscription you forgot to cancel. Cancel before the renewal date; we send a reminder before each renewal.

5. Subscriptions and Cancellation

5.1 Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled.

5.2 Cancel any time from Account Settings → Billing, or by emailing help@finmaverick.com at least 48 hours before your renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation stops future billing. It does not refund the period already paid for, and your access continues until the end of that period.

5.4 We email a renewal reminder before each charge. If you did not receive it, check your spam folder and tell us at help@finmaverick.com.

6. How to Request a Refund

Step 1. Email help@finmaverick.com with the subject line "Refund Request – [Order ID]".

Step 2. Include:

  • your registered name and email;
  • the order or transaction ID;
  • the programme or subscription name;
  • the date of purchase;
  • the reason for the request; and
  • any supporting evidence (screenshots, bank statement extract for a duplicate charge).

Step 3. We acknowledge within 48 hours with a ticket reference.

Step 4. We review — checking the window, your consumption, and any evidence — and give a decision within 7 working days.

Step 5. If approved, we initiate the refund within 7 working days of the decision.

Requests made only through social media, WhatsApp, or a mentor are not formally logged. Always email help@finmaverick.com.

7. How Refunds Are Paid

7.1 Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account, or UPI ID.

7.2 Once initiated, the money typically reaches you in:

MethodTypical time
UPI3–5 working days
Credit / debit card5–10 working days
Net banking5–7 working days
Wallets3–7 working days
International cards10–21 working days

7.3 These timelines are controlled by banks and the payment gateway, not by us. Once we initiate a refund we will share the reference number; delays after that must be taken up with your bank.

7.4 Deductions. Payment gateway charges are non-refundable on partial refunds and on bootcamp cancellations, and are deducted from the amount returned. GST already remitted is refunded proportionately where the law permits.

7.5 On refund, your access to the programme ends immediately and your licence under the Content License terminates.

8. Transfers Instead of Refunds

Where a refund is not available, we may — at our discretion, and often more usefully for you — offer:

  • Cohort transfer — move to a later batch of the same bootcamp, once, if you request it before Week 2.
  • Programme transfer — switch to a different programme of equal or lower value, paying any difference.
  • Access extension — extend your access period where a genuine medical or personal emergency is documented.
  • Platform credit — a credit note usable against any future Fin Maverick purchase, valid 12 months.

These are goodwill options. Requesting one does not create an entitlement.

9. Chargebacks

9.1 If you have a problem, contact help@finmaverick.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. Most issues are resolved faster directly.

9.2 Raising a chargeback on a legitimate, delivered purchase is a breach of the Terms & Conditions. We may suspend the account pending resolution and will contest the chargeback with our access logs and delivery records.

9.3 Where a chargeback is decided in our favour, any recovery costs charged to us by the gateway may be recovered from you.

10. Grievance Redressal

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, you may escalate:

Level 1 — reply to your refund ticket asking for review by a supervisor. We respond within 5 working days.

Level 2 — Grievance Officer:

  • Name: Niyati Arora
  • Designation: Grievance Officer
  • Email: help@finmaverick.com
  • Phone: +91 98101 18573
  • Address: Flat No. B-3/103, Sahara Grace, M.G. Road, Gurgaon – 122002, Haryana

We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 15 days, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Level 3 — you may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915 / consumerhelpline.gov.in) or the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. For material changes we will give at least 15 days' notice by email or in-platform notice, and archive earlier versions at https://www.finmaverick.com/return-refund-policy/archive.
