These Terms govern your access to and use of Fin Maverick, operated by Pravesio Consulting Private Limited ("Fin Maverick", "we", "us"), including https://www.finmaverick.com, https://learn.finmaverick.com, https://showdown.finmaverick.com, and all courses, bootcamps, micro courses, calculators, frameworks, internships, competitions, and support services offered through them (together, the "Platform").
By creating an account, enrolling in any programme, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and does not require a physical signature.
1. Eligibility
1.1 You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are between 16 and 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
1.2 You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
1.3 You confirm that the information you give us at registration is accurate and that you will keep it current.
2. Your Account
2.1 One account, one person. Your account is personal to you. Accounts may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used by more than one individual.
2.2 Credentials. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at help@finmaverick.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.3 Integrity checks. We monitor for credential sharing, concurrent sessions from implausible locations, and automated access. Where we detect it, we may require re-verification, limit concurrent sessions, suspend access, or terminate the account under Section 12.
2.4 Accuracy. Registering with false details, impersonating another person, or creating multiple accounts to obtain trials, discounts, or competition entries is a breach of these Terms.
3. What We Provide
3.1 Fin Maverick provides finance education: structured learning modules, NISM certification preparation, micro courses, mentored bootcamps, practice questions and mock tests, calculators and frameworks, internship programmes, and the Showdown case competition.
3.2 Access duration. Unless stated otherwise on the programme page, your access runs for the duration specified for that programme or subscription, including updates we ship to that track during your access period. Access does not continue indefinitely after the stated period ends.
3.3 Live and mentored components. Where a programme includes mentor sessions, live classes, or cohort deliverables, these run to a published schedule. We may reschedule a session for operational reasons and will give as much notice as we reasonably can. If a live session cannot be rescheduled, we will provide a recording or an equivalent substitute.
3.4 Changes to content. We continuously revise our material to reflect syllabus updates, regulatory changes, and market practice. Specific lessons, questions, or modules may be added, edited, replaced, or withdrawn.
3.5 Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be notified where practicable.
4. Educational Purpose — No Investment Advice
4.1 This is the most important section of these Terms. Read it carefully.
4.2 Fin Maverick is an education and training platform only. Nothing on the Platform — no lesson, note, framework, calculator output, worked example, case study, mentor comment, model, valuation, recommendation exercise, or Showdown argument — constitutes:
- investment advice or a personal recommendation;
- research analysis or a research report within the meaning of the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014;
- advice within the meaning of the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013;
- a solicitation, offer, or inducement to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial product; or
- portfolio management, financial planning, or tax advice.
4.3 We are not registered with SEBI as a Research Analyst, Investment Adviser, or Portfolio Manager, and we do not act in any of those capacities.
4.4 Where a lesson, case, or capstone requires you to reach a "buy", "sell", or "hold" view on a real company, that exercise exists solely to teach analytical method. It is not a recommendation to you or anyone else, and must not be distributed or presented as one.
4.5 Any securities, funds, instruments, or companies referenced are used as teaching illustrations. Their appearance is not an endorsement.
4.6 You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser or another appropriately qualified professional before acting on anything you learn here. Investments in securities markets carry risk, including loss of principal. Past performance does not indicate future results.
4.7 Our mentors and instructors teach in a personal, educational capacity. They are not your advisers, and any view they express is illustrative and their own.
5. Certification and Outcome Disclaimers
5.1 NISM. Fin Maverick prepares learners for NISM certification examinations. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the National Institute of Securities Markets ("NISM") or the Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI"). NISM and all related exam names and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what our material covers, as nominative fair use.
5.2 The same applies to any other certification, examination body, exchange, or professional designation referenced on the Platform. All third-party names, marks, and syllabus titles remain the property of their respective owners.
5.3 No guarantee of exam success. We do not promise, guarantee, or warrant that you will pass any examination or achieve any score. Outcomes depend on your own preparation, effort, and the examining body's process.
5.4 No guarantee of employment. Bootcamps, internships, career resources, and capstone projects are designed to make you employable. They are not an offer of employment and do not guarantee a job, an interview, a placement, a stipend, or any salary. Where an internship is offered, its terms are set out separately at the time of that offer.
5.5 Certificates. Fin Maverick completion certificates evidence completion of a Fin Maverick programme only. They are not a regulatory licence, a statutory qualification, or a substitute for any certification issued by NISM or any other body.
5.6 Learner testimonials on the Platform reflect individual experiences and are not representative of typical results.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- share, resell, sublicense, rent, publish, or redistribute any Platform content;
- record, screenshot, screen-capture, download, or transcribe lessons, live sessions, question banks, or mock tests, except where a download is expressly offered;
- share your login with anyone, or access the Platform through another person's account;
- use scrapers, crawlers, bots, headless browsers, or automated tools against the Platform;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with any access control, watermark, rate limit, or security feature;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform;
- upload malware, or anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or harassing;
- misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or qualifications;
- use the Platform to provide investment advice to others, to solicit clients, or to run any tipping, signals, or advisory service;
- present Fin Maverick material as your own to third parties, or use it to build a competing offering; or
- use the Platform for anything unlawful, or in breach of SEBI regulations or any other applicable law.
Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension without refund, plus whatever legal remedies are available to us.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on the Platform — lessons, notes, videos, question banks, mocks, frameworks, calculators, case materials, graphics, code, and design — is owned by or licensed to Pravesio Consulting Private Limited and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international law.
7.2 "Fin Maverick", "FinMaverick", "Maverick Bootcamp", "FinMaverick Pro", "FinMaverick Essentials", "Showdown", the Fin Maverick logo, and associated brand elements are our marks. You may not use them without written permission.
7.3 Your licence to use the content is limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable. Full terms are in our Content License, which forms part of these Terms.
7.4 Your submissions. You retain ownership of the projects, research notes, capstone deliverables, forum posts, and Showdown arguments you create. By submitting them, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and process them to operate the Platform, to assess and give feedback on your work, and — in anonymised or attributed form, with your consent — to showcase exemplary work. You may withdraw showcase consent at any time by writing to help@finmaverick.com.
7.5 Feedback. If you send us suggestions for improving the Platform, we may use them without obligation or compensation.
8. Payments, Pricing and Taxes
8.1 Prices are displayed on the relevant programme page and are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST is charged as required.
8.2 Payment is processed through third-party gateways. Your use of a gateway is also governed by that provider's terms.
8.3 Access is granted after payment is confirmed. If a payment fails, reverses, or is charged back, we may suspend access until it is resolved.
8.4 We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect a programme you have already paid for during your existing access period.
8.5 Where a programme is billed as a recurring subscription, it renews automatically at the stated interval until you cancel. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund a completed period.
8.6 Coupons, scholarships, and promotional pricing are subject to their own stated conditions, cannot be combined unless expressly permitted, and may be withdrawn at any time before purchase.
8.7 Refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services — payment gateways, video hosts, analytics, community tools, exchange or regulator websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
10.2 We work hard to keep our material accurate and current, but syllabi, regulations, tax rules, and market practice change. We do not warrant that all content is free of error or fully up to date at every moment. Always check the official syllabus and the current regulations published by the relevant authority.
10.3 Calculator and framework outputs depend entirely on the inputs you supply. They are teaching tools. We do not warrant their outputs for any real financial decision.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or any trading or investment loss, however arising.
11.2 Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is lower.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Suspension and Termination
12.1 By you. You may stop using the Platform at any time and request account deletion by writing to help@finmaverick.com. Deletion is subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy. Deletion does not automatically trigger a refund; see the Return & Refund Policy.
12.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice depending on severity, if you breach these Terms, share credentials or content, attempt to circumvent security, charge back a legitimate payment, behave abusively towards staff, mentors, or other learners, or use the Platform unlawfully.
12.3 Effect. On termination for breach, your licence ends immediately, access is revoked, and no refund is due. Sections 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours with a reference number and aim to resolve them within 15 days, as required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
14.2 The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith within 30 days of written notice.
14.3 If unresolved, the dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue will be Gurugram, and the proceedings will be in English.
14.4 Subject to the above, the courts at Gurugram have exclusive jurisdiction.
14.5 Nothing here prevents a consumer from approaching a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15. General
15.1 Changes. We may amend these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 15 days' notice by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15.2 Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting failures, power outages, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, or governmental action.
15.3 Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
15.4 No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
15.5 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
15.6 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Content License, and Return & Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between us regarding the Platform.
